The Justice Project
The Justice Project is the umbrella under which all of our local outreaches, community activities, and volunteer opportunities are found. Our goal is to serve our community and demonstrate love for others through collaborative partnerships and volunteer programs.
The Justice Project is a grassroots organization of volunteers who come together to serve the community. The Street Team offers community clean ups, and aid and assistance to individuals in their homes. Habitat Partners volunteer once a month as a group and at different times as individuals in helping to build affordable housing through the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The Justice Project team also helps to distribute goods donated by businesses to a variety of social service organizations and groups that benefit the disadvantaged, poor, or mentally ill. Community Projects team members help out at events that support a variety of groups, such as Foster Parents, Hispanic Festival, National Night Out, and others. Justice Project team members also assist at the Tacoma Rescue Mission monthly in feeding the homeless. Old School teams minister to senior citizens at local retirement centers. There are a wide variety of teams and opportunities for everyone. Special events take place throughout the year, and volunteers are able to choose the areas or events that fit their schedule.
