Many children and teens are in need of mentoring and support year round. Through the Won by One program, individuals or families can “adopt” a child or teen, providing for the financial needs of that child throughout the year. For example, a child or teen who is “adopted” would receive school supplies, birthday and holiday gifts, shoes and clothing, as well as tuition scholarships for appropriate camp and or leadership conferences during that year.
The kids and teens are also mentored by volunteers and staff in the programs or outreaches that they are part of, with the goal of seeing that child someday enter college or trade school. This partnership and financial support system also allows the donor the opportunity to receive ongoing updates on the child or teen that they sponsor.
